An Airway-First Approach That Fuses Dental Care & Healthcare

Look better. Feel better. Breathe & sleep better.

Our holistic, airway-centric practice

Our airway-centric approach combines orthodontic care and other airway focused treatments to support healthy facial development, improved breathing, and long-term function in children. We address TMJ and TMD concerns, snoring, and sleep-disordered breathing while promoting comfort, proper function, and lasting results for adults.

Early Orthodontic Treatment for Lifelong Health

Early Orthodontic Treatment for Lifelong Health

For kids, sleep, airway and TMJ symptoms often seem “normal”. They’re not. Early treatment used to be 12. Then it was 7. Now we see kids as young as 2.  I want to spot airway and jaw problems as soon as possible so we can reverse them and correct the issues before they become chronic.

A Hidden Epidemic: Sleep Disorders and Their Underestimated Impact

According to Yale Medicine Pediatric obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) can severely disrupt a child’s quality of sleep, leading to tiredness and crankiness during the day. If untreated, it can result in other health issues, including poor growth. OSA affects 3 to 6 percent of children and is associated with repetitive narrowing of the airways. Common consequences include attention problems and, in some cases, hyperactivity.
According to The American Medical Association, approximately 30 million people in the United States have sleep apnea, but only 6 million are diagnosed with the condition.
According to National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) – part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) – the prevalence of temporomandibular joint and muscle disorder (TMJD) is between 5% and 12%. These disorders are at least twice as prevalent in women as men.
According to The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Sleep plays a vital role in children’s mental and physical health. Insufficient sleep can affect children’s physical health, cognitive capacity, socioemotional processes, and behavioral functioning, impacting their overall development and well-being.
